Today, I reached an exciting milestone in my journey as an educator and researcher. I officially earned the Gemini Certified Educator qualification from Google for Education.

This certification recognizes educators who have demonstrated the skills, knowledge, and practical competencies needed to use Google’s Gemini AI effectively in teaching and learning. It represents a commitment to modern, innovative education and a belief that AI can empower instructors and students in meaningful ways.

For me, this achievement reflects my dedication to helping educators integrate AI responsibly, creatively, and confidently into their work.

Announcing My New YouTube Series: Teach With Gemini

I am also happy to share that I will soon be launching a new YouTube series titled Teach With Gemini.

This series is designed to give educators practical, easy-to-follow tutorials on how to use Gemini and other AI tools in the classroom. The goal is to make AI approachable and useful for teachers at all levels, regardless of technical experience.

The series will explore topics such as:

✔ Creating quizzes, rubrics, and worksheets
✔ Supporting grading and feedback workflows
✔ Helping students use AI responsibly for research and assignments
✔ Differentiating instruction with AI
✔ Classroom management and productivity tools

✔ Step-by-step demonstrations and ready-to-use templates

Each video will focus on simple, real-world applications that teachers can use immediately.

Why This Work Matters

AI is rapidly transforming education. Students are using it to study, schools are adopting it in their systems, and educators are searching for guidance on how to integrate it effectively. Many teachers feel unsure of how to begin. This series aims to make the process easier and more accessible.

With my background in Information Systems research and my new Gemini Certified Educator credential, I hope to help close the gap between AI innovation and practical classroom teaching.
